    I have been sticking to intermittent fasting for 4 months, plus exercise- 10 miles every other day on the stationary bike with a couple miles on the “off” days, on a medium tension.

    I eat all organic, and don’t snack, and my eating is moderate.

    I have not lost ANY WEIGHT.

    I am so discouraged. and am about to give up.

    Once in awhile I do mess up my fast by chewing gum w xylitol, but not very often.

    I’m 40 pounds overweight, and at thos rate, I feel doomed.

    I am considering starting the IF eating plan and lifestyle change. I just don’t understand how it will be that successful if one doesn’t eat mindfully in-between the fasting periods? you mention that one can eat what you like in-between the fasting periods, but isn’t that where one goes wrong, with this perception? Surely a balanced diet including low carb/calorie and unhealthy fats is important?
